According to regulatory language, OPPCE units must first be reported to the Board at the time of a licensee's 4th license renewal, and must be accrued during the 3-year period prior (January 1, year 1 - December 31, year 3) to that renewal due date.

ORC § 4779.20 - Renewal provides as follows regarding the number of hours that will be required for reporting:

  • licensed as an orthotist or prosthetist: 45 CE units
  • licensed as a prosthetist and orthotist: 75 CE units
  • licensed as a pedorthist: 33 CE points
